Customizing Your Notification Settings

Turn notifications on or off from your computer or smartphone

Want to get notified every time you receive a review or a message? You can customize what you're notified about and how you're notified in the "Notification Settings" section of your GoSite dashboard.

The ability to respond to your customers and prospects in a timely manner- even when you're on the go- is important for every business. Being alerted when important messages come in is one of the ways GoSite helps you with this. You can choose which notifications you receive when someone sends you a message via Messenger by following the steps in this article.

Customizing your notifications from your computer

  1. Log in to GoSite on your computer.

  2. Click the icon in the top right corner.

  3. Select "My Account."

  4. Choose "Notifications."

  5. Check the boxes for the notifications you want to receive.

    1. Notification - When you're signed in to GoSite on a computer you'll see a red dot next to the bell icon in the top right corner. Clicking the bell and selecting the alert to address it.

    2. SMS - You'll receive a text message to the phone number in the "My Account" section of your GoSite dashboard (make sure it's verified).

    3. Email - You'll receive an email to the email address in the "My Account" section of your GoSite dashboard (again, make sure it's verified).

    4. Mobile app - If you're signed in to the app on your phone you'll get a push notification.

     

  6. You can have your notifications go to an additional email by typing it in at the bottom under "Additional Email."

  7. Click "Update" to save you changes.


Customizing Messenger notifications from your iPhone

  1. Sign in to GoSite on your iPhone.

  2. Tap the "Menu" icon in the bottom right corner.

  3. Select "My Account."

  4. Select "Notifications."

  5. Toggle on the notifications you want to receive.

    1. SMS - You'll receive a text message to the phone number in the "My Account" section of your GoSite dashboard (make sure it's verified).

    2. Email - You'll receive an email to the email address in the "My Account" section of your GoSite dashboard (again, make sure it's verified).

    3. Mobile - If you're signed in to the app on your phone you'll get a push notification.

  6. You can have your notifications go to an additional email by typing it in at the bottom under "Additional Email."

  7. Click "Update" in the top right corner to save your changes.


Customizing Messenger notifications from your Android phone

  1. Log in to GoSite on your Android phone.

  2. Click the three-line menu icon in the top left corner.

  3. Select "My Account."

  4. Tap "Notifications."

  5. Scroll down to Messenger and toggle on the notifications you want to receive.

  6. You can have your notifications go to an additional email by typing it in at the bottom under "Additional Email."

  7. Click "Update" in the top right corner to save your changes.
