How to verify and update the phone number associated with your GoSite account
Verifying your phone number in GoSite is an important part of optimizing your account.
When you sign up with GoSite, your account comes with an auto-generated phone number that allows you to start texting from GoSite right away. When you send a message or review request by text from GoSite, the message will come from this auto-generated number.
If the recipient responds to your text message or review request you will receive their reply in the Messenger tool. Verifying your phone number in GoSite is important because it allows calls to the auto-generated number to be directed to you. You can check, verify, and change your number in the "My Account" section of your GoSite dashboard. This article will show you how!

Which device are you using?

Log in to GoSite on your computer.

Click the icon in the top right corner.

Select "My Account."

Click the "Not Verified" button above your phone number.
Note: If your phone number has a green "Verified" button above it, your number is already verified. If you would like to change an already-verified number, simply type the new number in the "Phone" field, click update, and follow the instructions below to verify the number.
The business phone number you choose must be a mobile number.

Click "Next" in the pop-up window.

You will receive a text message with a 4-digit code. Your code expires in 10 minutes.

Enter the 4-digit code into the next window.

Click "Next."

Once your number is successfully verified, a green "Verified" button will appear above the phone number.
Now that your phone number is verified, when someone calls the auto-generated number associated with your GoSite account they will be redirected to your verified phone number.

Log in to GoSite on your iPhone.

Tap the "Menu" icon in the bottom right corner.

Select "My Account."

Choose "MyProfile."

Next to "Mobile," click the red "Not Verified" button.
Note: If your phone number has a green "Verified" button above it, your number is already verified. If you would like to change an already-verified number, simply type the new number in the "Mobile" field, click update, and follow the instructions below to verify the number.

Enter the 4-digit code (tap the first square to begin).

Once the verification code is successfully entered your number will be verified.

Log in to GoSite on your Android phone.

Tap the 3-line menu icon in the top left corner.

Select "My Account.

Select "My Profile."

Next to "Mobile," click the red "Not Verified" button.
Note: If your phone number has a green "Verified" button above it, your number is already verified. If you would like to change an already-verified number, simply type the new number in the "Mobile" field, click update, and follow the instructions below to verify the number.
The business phone number you choose must be a mobile number.
