Customize the messages your website visitors receive when they interact with the Messenger widget
This article will show you how to customize the messaging on your Messenger widget. You have the ability to change your Welcome, Online, and Offline messages.
Your "Welcome Message" is the first message your website visitors see in the Messenger widget when they click on the chat icon. See the example below:
Your "Online Message" is the message your website visitors will receive when they send their first message during your business hours (Note: You can update your business hours in the Manage My Business section.) See the example below:
Your "Offline Message" is the message your website visitors will receive when they send their first message after your business hours (Note: You can update your business hours in the Manage My Business section.) See the example below:
What device are you using?

Log in to GoSite on your computer.

Click the profile icon in the top right corner.

Select "Manage My Business."

Select "Messenger" under "Product Settings."

You can edit your "Welcome Message," "Online Message," and "Offline Message" in the section pictured below:
Note: Your changes will be saved when you navigate away from this section.

Tap the "Menu" icon in the bottom right.

Select "Manage Business."

Select "Messenger" (at the bottom of the menu).

Click "Update" in the top right corner to save your changes.

Log in to GoSite on your Android phone.

Tap the three-line menu icon in the top left.

Select "Manage Business."

Select "Messenger" (at the bottom of the menu).

Click "Update" in the top right corner to save your changes.
