ACTIVATING GOOGLE BUSINESS MESSAGES IN TWO WAYS
Dashboard Pop-up Message:
1. Log in to your GoSite Dashboard.
Note: You can activate Google Business Messages using a desktop or your mobile device.
2. A pop-up message will appear on your screen. Click “ACTIVATE”.
3. You will be redirected to the “MESSENGER” section of your dashboard under “MANAGE MY BUSINESS” > “PRODUCT SETTINGS”. Click the “ACTIVATE GOOGLE BUSINESS MESSAGES” button.
4. You will be prompted to log in using your GMB credentials (User ID and password) to authenticate your Google My Business (GMB) account.
5. Select your GMB’s “BUSINESS PROFILE” and “ADDRESS” then click “SAVE”.
6. A confirmation message will then appear that you successfully integrated Google Business Messages into your GoSite dashboard.
Manage My Business:

Login to your GoSite Dashboard. Click the profile photo on the upper right-hand of your screen and select “MANAGE MY BUSINESS” on the drop-down menu.

Under “PRODUCT SETTINGS”, click “MESSENGER”.
3. Click the “ACTIVATE GOOGLE BUSINESS MESSAGES” button.
4. You will be prompted to log in using your GMB credentials (User ID and password) to authenticate your Google My Business (GMB) account.
5. Select your GMB’s “BUSINESS PROFILE” and “ADDRESS” then click “SAVE”.
6. A confirmation message will then appear that you successfully integrated Google Business Messages into your GoSite dashboard.
7. Once the integration is activated, all Google Business Messages will appear in your “MESSENGER” dashboard.
8. On the customers’ end, they can now look you up in Google Search, Google Maps, or Google Ads and send you messages by clicking the chat icon.
9. Once a dialog box appears, all conversations in the “CHATBOX” will appear in your messenger dashboard where you can respond in real time.
10. Successful integration means you can now utilize the chat feature of your Google My Business account in one dashboard. This allows you to receive and reply to GBM Chats using the Messenger tool.
HOW TO PERSONALIZE GOOGLE BUSINESS MESSAGES (GBM)

Go to “MANAGE MY BUSINESS”, click “PRODUCT SETTINGS” and customize the “WELCOME MESSAGE, “ONLINE MESSAGE” and “OFFLINE MESSAGE” of your GBM.

If your business has your own “PRIVACY POLICY URL,” you can configure it in this setting. By default, the system will auto-populate the field with GoSite’s Privacy Policy URL.
Note: The Privacy Policy Url field is mandatory and can NOT be left blank.

Login to your GoSite App.

A pop-up message will appear on your screen. Click “ACTIVATE”.
3. You will be redirected to the “MESSENGER” section of your dashboard under “MANAGE MY BUSINESS” > “PRODUCT SETTINGS”. Click the “ACTIVATE GOOGLE BUSINESS MESSAGES” button.
4. You will be prompted to log in using your GMB credentials (User ID and password) to authenticate your Google My Business (GMB) account.
5. A pop-up notification will appear on your screen. Click “ALLOW” to enable GoSite to access your Google account.
6. Select the GMB “PROFILE” that you want to connect to your account then click “SAVE”.
7. Select the GMB “LOCATION” that you want to use for your Google Business Messages then click “SAVE”.
8. A confirmation message will appear once you’ve successfully integrated Google Business Messages into your GoSite dashboard.
9. Once the integration is activated, all Google Business Messages will appear in your “MESSENGER” dashboard.
CUSTOMIZING YOUR GOOGLE BUSINESS MESSAGES THROUGH THE MOBILE APP
You can also edit and customize your GBM using your GoSite Mobile app.

You can toggle on your “CHAT AUTORESPONDER” and automate your GBM responses.

You can also personalize your “WELCOME MESSAGE”, “ONLINE MESSAGE”, or “OFFLINE MESSAGE”.
