How to use Wisetack financing

Overview

After you have been approved to offer Wisetack financing, customers will automatically see financing options on all eligible estimates and invoices.

Estimates and Invoices must be between $500 and $25,000 to be financed.

Estimates

  1. Send your customer an estimate that is between $500 and $25,000

  2. Email:

    1. Your customer can access the estimates page by clicking "View Estimate" in the email received.

  3. SMS:

    1. Your customer can access the estimates page by clicking the link in the SMS they receive.

  1. Send your customer an invoice that is between $500 and $25,000

  2. Email:

    1. Your customer can access the invoices page by clicking "Pay Invoice" in the email they receive.

  3. SMS:

How will I get paid?

Once your customer is approved for financing and confirms work has been completed, the purchase amount will be automatically applied to the total and the status on your GoSite dashboard will update.

If your customer accepted financing on an estimate it will automatically be converted to an invoice and marked as paid on your GoSite Payments Dashboard.

What happens if the purchase amount changes?

If you make an edit to an estimate or invoice, your customer will have to reapply for financing. Since checking eligibility only requires a soft pull on their credit, it does not hurt the customer's credit score to apply and check financing options again. Plus, the application is easy to fill out and only takes a few minutes of your customer’s time. In most cases a small increase in the total should not affect the application.

How do I monitor my customer’s application status?

To track your customer's application status, use your GoSite dashboard.

Note: This status will only show on the web version of GoSite, however, your customers can still apply for financing on invoices and estimates you send through the GoSite Mobile App.

My customer was approved for a lower loan amount - what do I do?

  1. In this case, you have two options:

    1. OPTION A:

      1. You can edit the estimate to match the approved amount. NOTE: your customer will have to reapply for the loan, but this will not affect their credit and the application will be quick.

      2. Alternatively, cancel and resend the invoice with the correct amount.

    2. OPTION B:

      1. Your GoSite Dashboard (Web only) as well as email communications will indicate that your customer was approved for a lower amount. You can reach out to your customer to figure out how to recover the difference.

GoSite offers an easy “Text to pay” feature - simply send out a payment link to your customer with the difference and they can pay with a credit card.

Be sure to keep an eye out for communications from Wisetack informing you of your customer’s application status.
