Payments underwriting explained

If your Payments application status is "Pending," this may mean an added layer of underwriting is needed to proceed with your application process. The purpose of underwriting is to ensure that we understand your business clearly before deciding your eligibility for the tool.

What to Expect

Our processing partner, CardConnect, is responsible for the underwriting and approval of Payments tool applications. Their team will contact you within 3-5 days by phone and email to attempt to gather additional documentation. Please note this outreach may be from CardConnect or their parent companies FirstData or Fiservn depending on the scope of the request. Fiserv, First Data, and CardConnect are all trusted preferred partners of GoSite.

Documentation that will be requested by CardConnect may include, but is not limited to:

  • Form of ID

  • Voided Check

  • Bank Statements

  • Tax Documentation

  • Legal DBA confirmation

  • Address Verification
