Sending a Payment Link

Easily collect payments by sending your customers a payment link by text or email

Accepting credit card payments is a great way to diversify and increase your overall revenue. Use the Payments tool in your GoSite dashboard to send payment links and get paid by your customers faster than ever before!


Which device are you using?


Sending a payment link from your computer

  1. Log in to GoSite on your computer.

  2. Select "Payments" from the left-hand side of your screen.

  3. Click the "Get Paid" button in the top right-hand corner.

  4. Select "Send a Payment Link."

  5. Enter the amount you would like to charge in the "Amount" section.

  6. Type in the customer's name in the "Contact" section if their information is saved in your Contact Hub. If not, type in their cell phone number or email address.

    Note: If you are sending a payment link to a customer who is not yet in your Contact Hub, entering either their email address or their cell phone number in the "Contact" field will prompt you to create a contact.

    If you select a contact from the Contact Hub that has only an email address saved, the payment link will be sent via email. If you select a contact from the Contact Hub that only has a cell phone number saved, the payment link will be sent via text. If you select a contact from the Contact Hub that has both an email address and a cell phone number saved, the payment link will be sent via both email and text.

  7. Click the "Send Payment Link" button to send.


Sending a payment link from your iPhone

  1. Log in to the GoSite app on your iPhone.

  2. Select the Payments icon from the bottom of your screen.

  3. Click the blue "+" sign in the bottom right corner.

  4. Select "Sent Text Pay."

  5. Enter the amount you would like to charge.

  6. Click the "Charge" button.

  7. Type the customer's name in the "Contact" section if their information is saved in your Contact Hub. If not, type in their cell phone number or email address.

    Note: If you are sending a payment link to a customer who is not yet in your Contact Hub, entering either their email address or their cell phone number in the "Contact" field will prompt you to create a contact.

    If you select a contact from the Contact Hub that has only an email address saved, the payment link will be sent via email. If you select a contact from the Contact Hub that only has a cell phone number saved, the payment link will be sent via text. If you select a contact from the Contact Hub that has both an email address and a cell phone number saved, the payment link will be sent via both email and text.

  8. Press the "Send Payment Link" button.

  9. You will see a green "Transaction request has been sent successfully" notification at the bottom of your screen.
