Automatic messages can be set so when someone visits your website they are invited to send a chat. Custom auto-responses can be set depending on whether it is during or outside of business hours.
To edit the automatic messages:
Login to the dashboard.
Click on the person icon in the upper right corner then click "Manage My Business".
Click on "Messenger" on the left hand side.
Here you can edit the welcome, online, and offline messages. Welcome will be the first message a customer sees when they open the chat widget. Online will be the auto-response during business hours. Offline will be the auto-response outside of business hours.
If the widget is already on your site, simply click out of the tab to save the changes and they will be reflected on your site.
If the widget has not been added to your site, scroll to the top and copy the code. The code can be embedded into your site.
To edit the widget color:
Follow steps 1-3 above.
Click on "Chat Widget Color" and select the desired color.
Follow steps 5-6 above.
