Everything you need to know to get started with GoSite's Placement tool

GoSite’s Placement tool is the easiest web presence management solution for local businesses. Placement allows you to manage all of your business attributes and content across the web. You can also post and respond to questions from your Google and Facebook pages all directly from your GoSite dashboard!

There are four parts to the Placement tool:

  • Overview- This section provides analytics to help you gauge your company's online performance and customer interaction through Google Insights.

  • Listings- This section displays whether you have your Google My Business (GMB) and Facebook Business profiles connected to your GoSite dashboard.

  • Posts- This section lets you connect with existing and potential customers via messages posted to Google My Business and Facebook Business accounts. You can create and share announcements, offers, new or popular items in stock, or store event details directly with your customers.

  • Q&A- This feature is a great way to interact with your clients through Google and answer their most frequently asked questions. Post some of the questions you're asked most often along with an answer!

Here’s what you need to set up your Placement tool:

  1. Connect your Facebook and Google to ensure you can post directly from your GoSite dashboard!

  2. Next, start posting! Consistently posting on Google and Facebook is one of the best ways to improve your online ranking because it shows search engines that you're an active business!
