A quick checklist before you start using the Messenger tool

The Messenger tool consolidates your business' text, Facebook, Messenger widget, and Thumbtack conversations into one place, allowing you to stay in touch on the go.

With GoSite Messenger you can:

  • Communicate with your website visitors via the Messenger widget and text

  • Start text and email conversations

  • Reply to text message threads

  • Assign messages to other team members

Before you get started using Messenger, there are a few things you can do to optimize and customize your tool:

  1. Connect your Facebook Business page to view and respond to Facebook messages from GoSite.

  2. Connect your Thumbtack account view and respond to Thumbtack messages from GoSite.

  3. The Messenger widget is typically added to all GoSite websites. If you would like to add the Messenger widget to your non-GoSite website, you can do so by following these instructions. Note: the Messenger widget is not compatible with all website platforms.
