Note: Sending mass review requests is currently only supported in the desktop version of GoSite.

Creating a Contact Group

  1. Log in to GoSite on your computer.

  2. Click "Contact Hub" on the left-hand side of your dashboard.

  3. Select the "Groups" tab.

  4. In the top right-hand corner click the “Add Group” button and enter a group name.

  5. Click "Manage" then "Add Contacts" to add existing contacts into your new group Check the box of each contact you would like to add to the group.

Note: Sending mass review requests only works by email, so only contacts with email addresses will receive the requests.

Sending Review Requests to a Contact Group

  1. Now that you've created a contact group for your mass review request, navigate to the "Reviews" tab on the left-hand side of your dashboard.

  2. Click the "Send Review Request" button in the top right-hand corner.

  3. Type the group name into the "New Review Request" form and select it from the drop-down list.

  4. Click “Send Review Request.”

With the default settings, mass review request emails will be sent to each contact over a 90 day period (this is your Mail Scheduled Interval). Keep reading to learn how to update your Mail Scheduled Interval!


Scheduling Mass Review Requests

The Mail Scheduled Interval allows you to control the rate at which the contacts in a group receive requests, which will also influence the rate at which you receive reviews. The default Mail Scheduled Interval is 90 days in order to help you avoid getting too many reviews in a short period of time. Receiving too many reviews at once, may cause your reviews to be flagged as fraudulent. Keep reading to learn how to update this setting and schedule mass review requests!

Once you have created a contact group that you would like to send mass review requests to by email, follow these steps:

  1. From your GoSite dashboard, click "Reviews."

  2. Select the "Settings" tab.

  3. Scroll down to the "Review Email Template" section. In the "Mail Scheduled Interval" section, add the number of days over which you would like to spread out your email requests to the contact group.

  4. Your changes will be saved when you navigate away from the "Settings" tab.

Example: Leo from Lucky's Landscaping has a contact group with 25 clients who have not yet left him a review. If he would like to send out one review request email per day he would change the "Mail Scheduled Interval" section to 25 days. Each contact in the group would receive a review request email on a different day over 25 days. If Leo chooses 50 days, an email would be sent to his 25 contacts every other day.
