If you have the Messenger widget installed on your website you can customize the announcement from your GoSite dashboard. This article will guide you through how!
Which device are you using?
Updating your Messenger widget announcement from your computer
Log in to GoSite on your computer.
Click the profile icon in the top right corner.
Select "Manage My Business."
Select "Messenger" under "Product Settings."
To create or update an announcement, type it in the "Announcement" field.
Note: Removing all text from this field will remove the announcement.
Your changes will be saved when you navigate away from the page.
iPhone
Tap the "Menu" icon in the bottom right.
Select "Manage Business."
Select "Messenger" (at the bottom of the menu).
Update your announcement by editing the text in the "Announcement" field.
Click "Update" in the top right corner to save your changes.
Android
Log in to GoSite on your Android phone.
Tap the three-line menu icon in the top left.
Select "Manage Business."
Select "Messenger" (at the bottom of the menu).
Update your announcement by editing the text in the "Announcement" field.
Click "Update" in the top right corner to save your changes.
