A Facebook Business page allows your customers to see your work photos, leave reviews, book appointments with you, and direct message you with questions! It's a great resource if your goal is to get found online.
This article will provide some basic guidance and links for how to create a Facebook Business page.
Which device are you using?
Creating a Facebook Business page from your computer
In order to create a Facebook Business page, you must already have a personal Facebook profile. If you don't have one, you can create a personal Facebook profile here.
Note: You need a personal Facebook profile to create a Facebook Business page, however since this profile will not be visible from your business page there is no need to build it out, add "friends," etc.; it just needs to exist!
Visit facebook.com/pages/create and select "Business or Brand."
You will be prompted to sign in to your personal Facebook account if you are not already signed in.
Note: Don't have a personal Facebook profile yet? Click the green "Create a New Account" button.
Fill out the fields on the left side of the page:
Page name: Enter the name of your business, brand, or organization.
Category: Choose a category that best describes what type of business, or organization the Page represents. You can add up to 3.
Description: Write about what your business does and/or the services you provide.
Click the "Create Page" button to save.
Once your page is created you can build it out by:
Adding a profile photo.
Adding a cover photo.
Creating a username.
Add a "Call Now" button.
Add the rest of your business details.
Now that you have a Facebook page for your business you can connect it to GoSite!
Creating a Facebook Business page from your iPhone
In order to create a Facebook Business page, you must already have a personal Facebook profile. If you don't have one, you can download the app and select "Sign up for Facebook" to create an account.
Note: You need a personal Facebook profile to create a Facebook Business page, however since your profile will not be visible from your business page there is no need to build it out, add "friends," etc.; it just needs to exist!
Open the Facebook app on your iPhone. (Don't have the app? Download it here!)
Log in to your personal Facebook account.
Tap the three-line menu icon in the bottom right.
Select "Pages."
Select the "+ Create" button in the top left corner.
Follow the on-screen instructions to create your page.
It's recommended to build out your profile by:
Adding a profile photo.
Adding a cover photo.
Creating a username.
Add a "Call Now" button.
Add the rest of your business details.
Now that you have a Facebook page for your business you can connect it to GoSite!
