Videos on your website can be a great way to introduce yourself or show examples of previous work to website visitors. This article will teach you how to add a video code to your GoSite website, and how to copy an embed code from both Youtube and Vimeo.
Before getting started, make sure you are logged into GoSite on a computer and have the website editor open. Not sure how to get to the website editor? Check out Accessing the GoSite Website Editor.
Note:
The GoSite website editor is currently only accessible from a computer. Edits cannot currently be made from the mobile app.
It is not currently possible to add videos to website banners.
If you would like to add a .mp4 video file to your website, send an email to [email protected] with the video file and specific instructions on where you would like the video to be added.

Embedding a Video Code Into the website: Step-by-step instructions
Hover your mouse over the section where you would like the video to appear and click on the pencil icon.
Find the "Code" button under the "Widgets" section on the left-hand side.
Drag the “Code” widget button to your desired location in the section. A box with the words "Add your custom html" will appear where you dropped the widget.
Click on "Add your custom html" to pull up the "Embed Code Settings" on the left-hand side.
Paste the copied Vimeo or Youtube embed code into the box under "Paste Embed Code Here". There should be a preview of the video where it previously said "Add your custom html"
Note: If there is a code already in the Paste Embed Code Here box, delete it before you paste your embed code.
Your video has now been added. Make sure to press "Save" and then "Publish" to push your changes live!

Below is a video walkthrough of adding an embed code onto your GoSite Sites Editor. The embed code was copied from Vimeo prior to opening the GoSite Sites Editor.
Copying the embed code for a YouTube video
Log in to Youtube.
Navigate to the "Your Channel" page and upload the video you want to appear on your website.
Play the uploaded video and right click on the middle of the video.
Select “Copy Embed Code” from the drop-down list.

Copying the embed code for a Vimeo video
Log in to Vimeo.
Click on the "New Video" button and upload the video you want to appear on your website.
Go to the uploaded video and then click on the “Share” button in the upper right corner.
Click on the “Copy Embed Code” from the drop-down list.
