Adding Your Services to GoSite

Updating the list of services your business provides in GoSite to optimize your Booking and Payments tools

Adding your services to GoSite is an important part of setting up and optimizing your GoSite account. Having an updated list of the services your business provides allows you to:

  • Accept online appointments and add manual appointments with the Booking tool

  • Send invoices quickly and easily with pre-loaded service details and pricing

This article with show you how to add your services to GoSite.


Which device are you using?


Adding your services to GoSite from your computer

  1. Log in to GoSite on your computer.

  2. Click the profile icon in the top right corner.

  3. Select "Services."

  4. Click the "Add Service" button in the top right corner.

  5. Fill out the service details. (Note: The fields with red stars are required fields.)

    Service Name: (required field) Title for the service you are adding.

    (Example: "Standard Tree Trimming")

    Description: (required field) Details about the service your company is providing.

    (Example: "Standard Tree Trimming service includes cutting away dead, obstructive, or excess branches from trees and shrubbery. We utilize chain saws, handsaws, pruning hooks, shears, and clippers. Includes clean-up.")

    Price: Cost for the duration of the service.

    (Example: If you set the duration of the service to 01:00 [one hour], the amount you add in this field is what you charge hourly for this service.)

    Duration: (required field) The duration of the service.

    (Example: If you have an hourly rate for tree trimming, set the "Duration" at 01:00 [one hour] and your "Price" at $100. If you need to create an invoice for two hours of tree-trimming, you will add the service and change the QTY [quantity] section to "2." See below invoice image.)

    Missed Appointment Fee: Optional. How much will you charge a customer if they miss their appointment/scheduled service?

    Service Occurs At: Choose between "Customer's Address" or "My Business Location."

    Service Image: You can choose to upload an image for the service as a visual aid to distinguish between services. (Ex: Lucky's Landscaping chose to upload an image of a tree for their tree trimming service.)

    Bookable by Customers: Toggled on means your customers are allowed to book the service from your website. Toggled off means your customers are NOT allowed to book the service from your website. When "Bookable by Customers" is toggled on, you will be presented with the below fields:

    1. Prep Time: A time buffer that will be blocked off on your calendar before the service. Options range from none to 60 minutes.

    2. Date Range: Set the number of days a booking can be made in the future.

    3. Start-Time Increments: Show available start times in specific increments (Example: Selecting "30 min" means your customers will be able to book on the hour and 30 minutes past the hour during your operating hours. Setting this section to 60 minutes means your customers will only be able to book on the hour during your operating hours.)

    4. Custom Booking Hours: In this section, you can choose which days and hours this specific service is bookable. Don't forget to press the "Save Custom Hours" section to save your changes! (Example: Lucky's Landscaping does not offer tree trimming services on Tuesdays from 9am-11am or on Wednesdays, so they changed the availability on Tuesday to 11am-5pm and unchecked the box for Wednesday.)

    5. Business Logo: Uploading a logo here will display it in email and text reminders for this service.

    Notify Business Owner: Choose if you would like to notify your customer about their booked service by email, text message, or both.

    Assigned User: (required field) Which team member will be performing this service? (Note: To add new team members, check out Adding New Team Members to GoSite.)

    Calendar Color: What color do you want this service to be in your Booking tool calendar?

  6. Click the "Add Service" button to save your service.

    The services you add will appear on the main "Services" page. You can make changes to a service or remove it by clicking "Manage" next to the service you would like to edit or remove.

Adding your services to GoSite from your iPhone

  1. Log in to GoSite on your iPhone.

  2. Click the three-line menu icon in the bottom right corner.

  3. Select “Manage Business.”

  4. Select “Services."

  5. Click the blue "+" sign in the bottom right corner.

  6. Fill out the form. (Note: The fields marked with * are required fields.)

  7. Click "Save" in the top right corner.

The services you add will appear on the main "Services" page. You can make changes to a service or remove it by clicking a service, making changes, and clicking "Update" in the top right corner.

Adding your services to GoSite from your Android phone

  1. Log in to GoSite on your Android phone.

  2. Click the three-line menu icon in the top left corner.

  3. Click "Manage Business."

  4. Select "Services."

  5. Click the blue and white '+' sign in the bottom right corner.

  6. Fill out the form. (Note: The fields marked with * are required fields.)

  7. Click "Save" in the top right corner.

The services you add will appear on the main "Services" page. You can make changes to a service or remove it by clicking a service. Select "Edit Service" or "Delete Service," and then click "Save" in the top right corner.
