The most convenient and direct way to reach a client is by sending a text to their mobile device. You can send text messages directly to your customers from your Messenger tool! This article will show you how.


Which device are you using?


Sending a text message from GoSite on your computer

  1. Log in to GoSite on your computer.

  2. Open "Messenger."

  3. Click the "Send Message" button in the top right corner.

  4. In the "Contact" field you can either type the phone number of the person you'd like to text or type their name to search your Contact Hub.

    Note: If you select a contact from the Contact Hub which has both a phone number and an email address, the message will be sent via text and email. If the contact you choose was added to your Contact Hub with an email address and no phone number your message will be sent via email.

  5. Type your message in the "Enter Message" field.

    Note: If you want to add an attachment, click the "Attach Files" button.

  6. Click "Send."

    Your text will be sent from the auto-generated phone number associated with your GoSite account. To view this number, check out Viewing Your Auto-Generated Phone Number.

    Note: You can also send texts from your Contact Hub!


Sending a text message from GoSite on your iPhone

  1. Log in to GoSite on your iPhone.

  2. Select "Messenger" from the bottom of the screen.

  3. Click the blue "+" button on the bottom right corner.

  4. In the "Search by Number or Email" field you can either type the phone number of the person you'd like to text and click "Send," or type their name to search your Contact Hub and select a contact.

    Note: If you select a contact from the Contact Hub which has both a phone number and an email address, the message will be sent via text and email. If the contact you choose was added to your Contact Hub with an email address and no phone number your message will be sent via email.

  5. Type your message in the "Add your note" field.

    Note: If you want to add an attachment, click the paperclip icon to the left.

  6. Click the arrow to send.

    Your text will be sent from the auto-generated phone number associated with your GoSite account. To view this number, check out Viewing Your Auto-Generated Phone Number.

    Note: You can also send texts from your Contact Hub!


Sending a text message from GoSite on your Android phone

  1. Sign in to GoSite on your Android phone.

  2. Tap the three-line menu icon in the top left corner.

  3. Select "Messenger."

  4. Click the blue and white plus sign on the bottom right corner.

  5. In the "Enter email or phone number" field you can either type the phone number of the person you'd like to text and click "Send," or type their name to search your Contact Hub and select a contact.

    Note: If you select a contact from the Contact Hub which has both a phone number and an email address, the message will be sent via text and email. If the contact you choose was added to your Contact Hub with an email address and no phone number your message will be sent via email.

  6. Type your message in the "Message" field.
